Are you a Lean Consultant with experience working across the manufacturing industry?

We're partnering with an established Australian business to find a Senior Lean Systems Consultant to work directly with manufacturing organisations on operational improvement and transformation.

This isn't a typical internal Continuous Improvement role.

You'll work with different manufacturing businesses, getting under the hood of their operations to understand what's constraining performance, identify process gaps and use Lean methodologies to develop practical improvement roadmaps.

What you'll be doing:
Working directly with manufacturing businesses to understand operational challenges
Conducting operational assessments and identifying process gaps and constraints
Applying Lean methodologies to diagnose problems and identify improvement opportunities
Developing practical recommendations and improvement roadmaps
Facilitating workshops and engaging with senior manufacturing stakeholders




Supporting clients through operational and transformation initiatives
Building strong client relationships and identifying consulting prospects

What we're looking for:
Experience working as a Consultant within the manufacturing industry
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is essential
Robust understanding of Lean methodologies and how to apply them in practice
Experience analysing manufacturing operations and identifying improvement opportunities
Comfortable working directly with clients and senior stakeholders
Experience developing recommendations, reports or improvement roadmaps
Commercially minded with an interest in building and developing consulting opportunities

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who wants to combine their manufacturing and Lean expertise with a client-facing consulting role, working across a variety of manufacturing businesses rather than focusing on one internal operation.
