This position is accountable for the planning, coordination and execution of all construction activities, ensuring delivery is safe, efficient and aligned with project scope, cost, schedule and quality requirements.Initially supporting project development in Brisbane, the role will transition to FIFO Mount Isa during execution.
You will lead multiple contractors and complex work packages,



ensuring safe construction delivery within an active mining and processing environment while supporting successful commissioning and handover.Key responsibilitiesLead development and execution of the project construction strategyManage all construction activities in line with approved scope, cost, schedule and qualityDrive safe, predictable and efficient construction delivery outcomesOversee contractor performance, governance and workforce mobilisationManage brownfield integration within an active mining operationCoordinate shutdowns, tie‐ins, isolations and SIMOPS activitiesEnsure compliance with SHMS and site safety systemsMonitor construction performance across cost, schedule and productivity metricsSupport commissioning, startup and handover to operationsBuild strong stakeholder relationships across project, operations and contractor teamsAbout youYou are an experienced construction leader with a strong background in delivering major mining or industrial projects, ideally within brownfield environments.
You bring a proven ability to manage complex contractor workforces, navigate operational interfaces and deliver projects safely and efficiently from execution through to commissioning.Extensive experience in major mining, infrastructure or industrial project deliveryProven leadership of construction execution on large capital projectsStrong contractor management and commercial acumenExperience working within live operational or brownfield environmentsDeep understanding of SHMS, risk management and safety leadershipAbility to lead large, multi‐disciplinary teamsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience supporting commissioning and operational handoverTertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline (preferred)
