We're looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to perform a hands-on role across the end-to-end IT infrastructure lifecycle.Who We AreUltradata - A long-established, successful and stable business with 49 years of experience and a trusted technology business partner to significant financial institutions across the Australian and Asia Pacific financial services market.Key responsibilitiesAdminister FortiGate Firewall & Microsoft Active DirectoryDeliver network security-focused projects, including SD-WAN, VPNs, networks, and firewall/security tools implementations, EDR/SEIM, etcDeliver Internal Server infrastructure projects, supporting systems that underpin team productivity and operational efficiency.Network support and troubleshooting, as well as capacity planning and monitoringManage BAU operations alongside project delivery,



including upgrades and migrationsImplement security solutions and disaster recovery proceduresMonitor server performance, apply updates/patches, and manage software deploymentsSupport user accounts, permissions, and application installationsCollaborate with helpdesk and cross-functional teamsManage support calls and assist with after-hours support as and when neededProvide continuous operations of environments under your control 24x7 or business hours, depending upon the services.Candidate ProfileDegree in IT or certifications (MCSA, CompTIA)4 years of experience in supporting Microsoft core Infrastructure services and end-user support with hands-on experience in hybrid networkingHands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, and group policy managementHands-on experience with Exchange Online 365, Hybrid setupHands-on experience with FortiGate firewall and IPSEC VPNBasic understanding of cybersecurity, backups & tape librariesUnderstanding of ISO***** or NIST Cybersecurity FrameworksExcellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
