Australian owned and operated for more than 25 years, we proudly represent world-leading manufacturers and support customers across Australia and New Zealand.As we establish our new Brisbane Airport facility, we're looking for an experienced Parts Coordinator to become our first dedicated Parts team member on site.This is a hands-on position suited to someone with experience in parts interpreting, automotive or mechanical parts, stores or inventory who enjoys taking ownership of their work.Reporting to our National Parts Manager and supported by our wider interstate Parts team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day Parts operation in Brisbane – from identifying and ordering parts through to receiving, stock control, customer enquiries, picking and dispatch.The RoleYou'll take responsibility for keeping the Brisbane Parts function organised, accurate and responsive to both our technicians and customers.Your responsibilities will include:Coordinating daily parts requirements for our workshop, service team and external customersResponding to parts enquiries and preparing quotations and ordersIdentifying and sourcing parts using digital parts catalogues and company systemsOrdering, receiving, receipting, storing, picking and dispatching partsMonitoring stock levels and coordinating replenishmentMaintaining accurate stock locations and inventory recordsConducting cycle counts and stocktakes and resolving discrepanciesLiaising with suppliers and freight providers to follow up orders and deliveriesProviding customers with accurate pricing, availability and order updatesProcessing workshop and customer parts returnsMaintaining purchase orders,



invoices and parts transactionsIdentifying opportunities to grow internal and external parts salesHelping establish practical Parts processes and systems as our Brisbane operation growsAs the first dedicated Parts team member at the facility, you'll have the opportunity to make the role your own and help establish how the local Parts operation runs day to day.About YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, practical and comfortable working independently.Ideally, you'll bring:Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Coordinator, Storeperson or in a similar automotive, mechanical or industrial parts roleA good understanding of automotive, mechanical or industrial equipment partsExperience with inventory systems, Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and/or digital parts cataloguesStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple parts orders and prioritiesGood numerical skills and strong attention to detailConfidence using computer-based systems and spreadsheetsStrong communication and customer service skillsA practical, hands-on approach and willingness to take ownership of the Parts functionThe ability to safely undertake regular parts handlingExperience within heavy vehicles, automotive, mechanical equipment, aviation GSE or similar industries would be highly regarded.Why Freightquip?
