We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our high performing Rail Team working on Sydney Train Fleet in Wetherill Park, NSW.You will make an impact in the following ways:Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete basic repairs, including preparing required parts and toolsSupport the Sydney Trains auxiliary assets of their regional diesel fleetPerforms preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the fieldCompletes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets,



warranty claims via handwritten forms or business system input screensCompletes training in line with skill and business requirementsMaintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operationTrain electrical apprentices in and out of the branch.Coordinate jobs and responsibilities within the branch and delegate workload.Understand relevant electrical certification required in countryComplete in workshop repairs as requiredTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Current relevant electrical certification / ticketsBasic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation productsHigh Voltage / Low Voltage Experience preferredExperience in servicing and maintenance of standby and prime power generatorsExperience in commercial / industrial electrical worksAdditional Information:Full Time / 38 hours per weekCompetitive Hourly RateOvertime as required – Penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hoursAll your Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms are provided and launderedLocal Valid Drivers License is requiredYou must be trade certified to work in NSW.Job ServiceOrganization Cummins Inc.Role Category In office with FlexibilityJob Type Technician
