About the position

SmartClinics Annerley is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team on a Casual basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus, and enjoy working with a range of stakeholders including Doctors, Peers, Internal and External stakeholders and most importantly, our patients at our SmartClinics Annerley Family Medical Centre.

We are a quick-paced but very friendly, family-orientated private practice.

We are looking for someone who
Is confident, professional, honest, reliable and has a outstanding personality
Has excellent verbal and communication skills with an exceptional phone manner
Has good computer skills
Has a high standard of presentation
Has the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team workplace
Has the ability to be flexible and cover leave

Duties would include reception, appointment bookings, billing and general administrative duties.

Essential requirements
Professional approach with a ‘can-do’ attitude




Ability to manage within a busy workplace setting with fluctuating levels of demand
Be able to work in a team workplace and independently
National Police Check or willingness to complete one

Desirable
Previous experience in General Practice experience or similar role
Experience with Best Practice software
Flexibility to cover additional hours for sick and annual leave
