Marketing & Digital Lead, Clever Cafe Company

Clever Cafe Company is a head office for independent Australian cafes. Franchise cafes get a head office behind them, with supplier deals, systems, training and expert support. Independents carry all of it alone.

We built the platform that changes that: software, education, resident experts and a national Marketplace that give an independent cafe the backing of a head office while it stays fully independent.

The platform is live, we're growing nationally, and now we're scaling. This role exists to drive that.

We're hiring a Marketing & Digital Lead to own how cafe founders find us and become members. The scope:
Brand and positioning
Web and conversion
Paid advertising
Member acquisition
Onboarding and activation

You'll work directly with the founder, make decisions on live channels from day one, and be measured on paying members rather than impressions.





A firm understanding of of hospitality experience is required. No time will be spent explaining the industry to you. You'll arrive already understanding cafes and the people who run them, and work alongside a passionate team already making waves.

The right person has also grown an early-stage SaaS, marketplace or membership product, is hands-on across every channel they run, and lets results settle arguments. The engagement will be structured around the right person, and full time and fractional arrangements both work.
