About the role

Galaxy 2014 Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse qualified.

As a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker, you will play a key role in supporting cool room receiving operations, ensuring goods are safely unloaded, moved and stored efficiently.

This is a fast-paced role that requires high attention to detail, efficiency, and a strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments from trucks and trailers.
Move products to storage areas, staging zones, or packing stations.
Verify inventory counts and check loads for accuracy or damage.
Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products and materials within the warehouse
Perform general warehouse duties such as picking,



packing, and shipping orders
Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

Requirements
Current LF Forklift Licence
Previous experience as a Forklift Operator in a warehouse, logistics or cool room environment
Experience with receiving, unloading and moving stock
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety
Good communication and the ability to follow instructions
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Adaptable and adaptable to changing workloads and priorities
Comfortable working in a cool room workplace
