About the role

Ensure that all outgoing orders are picked, packed, and dispatched correctly in an efficient and safe working manner whilst providing high levels of customer service to our customers. Forklift Operators are required to have an understanding of their position within the chain of responsibilities both internally and externally. This position requires a robust sense of responsibility, time management and adherence to safety regulations.

Key responsibilities
Ensure that all outgoing orders are picked, packed, and dispatched correctly and safely, adhering to established safety procedures at all times during picking/packing, secondary physical check, and loading
Ensure that all sleeper products are wrapped and packaged accordingly
Safely load all Trucks, Utes, Trailers, and other vehicles. Ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening of loads
Perform steel-cutting duties with a robust focus on safety and precision
Perform product stock rotation when required or time permits, ensuring that management is notified of the completed rotation(s)
Prepare and refurbish display frames
Unload incoming purchased goods and check goods received
Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe yard environment, promptly addressing any safety hazards or concerns




Provide excellent customer service skills when loading customer vehicles with their orders
Achieve KPIs as set by Management

About you
Valid LF Forklift License (License to Perform High Risk Work) issued by a recognized training provider
Minimum 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting
Demonstrated proficiency in operating a forklift safely and efficiently
Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures, including loading/unloading techniques and inventory management
Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipping manifests, and other documentation related to warehouse activities
Maintain a high level of alertness and safety consciousness at all times while in the yard
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when reading packaging labels to ensure accurate handling of goods
Solid time-management skills to work efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to WHS requirements
Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised for the majority of the time while also collaborating effectively within a team
Exceptional hand-eye coordination for precise handling of goods and equipment
