With a strong pipeline of civil construction projects across the Mackay region, Vassallo Constructions is looking for skilled and experienced Civil Plant Operators to join our team for an immediate start.

We are currently seeking operators with experience across Excavators and Skid Steers, with multi-skilled plant operators highly regarded.

This is a Mackay-based role and is not FIFO. There may be occasional requirements to work away from Mackay on projects within the Central Queensland region.
Civil Plant Operators
Operating Excavators from 5T to 35T
Operating Skid Steers / Bobcats
Work across a variety of civil construction and infrastructure projects
Opportunities to operate additional plant depending on experience and competencies




Multi-skilled plant operators will be highly regarded
Mackay-based work
Immediate start available

What You’ll Need
Relevant plant tickets / Certificates of Competency
Current Driver Licence (Mandatory)
Construction Industry White Card / Blue Card (Mandatory)
Previous experience working on civil construction projects
Strong commitment to safety
Reliable and positive attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a civil construction crew
