With a robust track record of growth and the backing of a large US listed business.Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role supporting the financial integrity and reporting of the Australian business while working closely with regional and global teams.About the roleSupporting the month-end close, including journals, reconciliations and review of resultsPreparing monthly management reporting and financial analysisSupporting forecasting and planning activitiesMaintaining robust balance sheet controls and supporting audit requirementsApplying revenue recognition policies in line with Group and US GAAP requirementsWorking with commercial and operational teams to ensure accurate revenue and margin recognitionMonitoring revenue and margin performance and addressing recognition issuesPreparing submissions and supporting information for regional and Group finance teamsSupporting statutory audit and compliance requirementsPartnering with AP, AR, FP&A; and the wider finance teamContributing to ERP implementation and finance transformation projectsIdentifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, automation and reportingAbout YouYou will ideally be a CA/CPA qualified accountant, or working towards qualification, with experience across financial accounting and reporting.Experience in Big 4 or mid-tier accounting followed by commercial experienceStrong month-end, reporting, reconciliation and financial control experienceExposure to revenue recognition within a services, technology or project-based environmentExperience working within a complex or fast-growing organisationExposure to US GAAP, SOX-style controls or multinational group reporting is highly desirable
