We work together to create welcoming environments where participants feel supported, motivated, and confident to stay activeAbout the roleWe are seeking casual Group Fitness Instructors to plan and deliver engaging group fitness classes that support positive participant experiences and customer satisfaction.The role will work across Waves Leisure Centre & Mordi Aquatic centre, with additional opportunities to deliver classes for community centres and hubs across the Kingston municipality.Classes may be delivered indoors or outdoors.We're recruiting now for these exciting opportunities, with successful candidates anticipated to start closer to the opening of the new Mordi Aquatic CentreWhat you'll deliverSafe, engaging group fitness classes that meet participant needsAccurate and authentic delivery of Les Mills choreography (where applicable)Well-prepared, safe class environmentsClear instruction, supervision, and equipment guidancePositive, professional responses to customer enquiriesPromotion of centre programs and servicesConsistent teamwork and support within the Health & Wellbeing teamCompliance with all health, safety, and organisational requirementsYour Skills and ExperienceWe're Looking for qualified Group Fitness instructors with experience across a range of programs,



Including Les Mills, Wellness, Reformer Pilates, Freestyle ad Aqua, to help deliver engaging and inclusive fitness experience for the community.You will bringExperience delivering group fitness classesRelevant program-specific qualifications (e.g. Les Mills, Reformer Pilates, Aqua)Current Level 2 First Aid CertificateCurrent CPR CertificateCertificate 3 in Fitness (desirable)Professional Industry Registration (desirable)Sound communication skills and a customer focused approachThe right candidate will be able to demonstrate the City of Kingston's values of We make a difference We show care and respect We take pride in our work We are better togetherDon't meet every single requirement for this role?
