Hybrid / Flexibility.We have (6-Month Contract - Extend) Senior Cyber Security Engineer roleavailable in Sydney CBD.
Hybrid, 2 days Onsite, 3 days Remote.In this role you will will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and continuously improving Cyber Security Engineering services, such as antivirus, Data Loss Prevention, MFA, Endpoint Detection & Response, web proxy, and security event logging systems.This is a technical infrastructure role to maintain the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of these global platforms, including responding to incidents and problems, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting, and planning for growth.Key Responsibilities:Implement and manage cyber security technology platforms such as antivirus, Data Loss Prevention, encryption, and Privileged Access ManagementContribute to technology strategies and product selections, responding to security changes and requests by implementing and updating cyber security technologiesResolve complex service incidents in line with SLAsIdentify, plan,



and implement regular and proactive maintenance and performance improvements to the Cyber Security Engineering to ensure it remains fit for purposeBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and improve service to business users and enhance knowledge and information sharingExperience Required:Solid knowledge of Cyber Security Engineering technologies and best practicesStrong Experience in core infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory, Windows Workstation and Server, networking, Linux, operational tooling, cloud services3 -5 years + years technical experience in an Infrastructure Engineering role, including infrastructure support and change delivery.Understanding of current Cyber Security technology trendsProblem solving and analysis skills, with a high attention to detailStrong communications skills – both verbal and writtenHigh attention to detailExperience of maintaining relationships in a diverse, distributed teamBroad financial services experience with understanding of enterprise technology environments in a global organisation
