We currently have a Full-Time Catering Supervisor position available to join the Spotless team at Villawood Immigration Detention Centre located in Villawood, NSW.
As a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, Spotless is responsible for preparing and serving culturally diverse, nutritious meals that contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of people within the centres.The role plays a pivotal part in overseeing daily operations, with key responsibilities including:Supervising Catering Assistants to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained across all service areasCoordinating daily with Chefs and Head Chefs to ensure adequate food preparation, product availability, and smooth catering operationsEnsuring compliance with the HACCP Food Safety Plan by monitoring food safety standards and practices, maintaining hygiene in food preparation areas, and completing all Food Safety documentation accurately and on timeEnsuring all kitchen equipment is operated in accordance with protected work procedures and maintained in a clean and safe conditionAssisting with food stocktakes and audit procedures as required.What You'll BringCertificate III or Higher in Kitchen OperationsFood Safety CertificatesWorking with Children Check (Employee)
