Legal Assistant — Part time (Min. 3 Days/Week)

Melbourne Legal Lawyers is a growing practice advising clients across family law, business and commercial law, property and general commercial matters. We're looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our friendly team and support our solicitors across a varied and genuinely interesting caseload.

This is a part-time role — minimum 3 days per week.

What you'll do
Support family law matters and VCAT applications — drafting, filing and preparing documents
Assist with contract law and business acquisition matters
Prepare correspondence, court/tribunal documents and file notes
Liaise with clients, courts and tribunals by phone and email
Manage files, diaries and deadlines

What you'll bring




At least 1 year's experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
A solid legal background and understanding of legal processes
Working knowledge of family law and VCAT applications
Familiarity with contract law and business acquisitions
Strong written communication and confident, skilled phone manner
Excellent organisation, accuracy and the ability to juggle deadlines
A proactive, independent approach
