Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic – $60/hr | Campbellfield

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics to join a busy workshop in Campbellfield. This is a great opportunity to work with a large modern fleet in a well-maintained workshop, with the potential to move into a permanent position.

What’s on offer
$60 per hour
Temporary role with potential for permanent full time employment
Monday to Friday
Shift starts at 5am, 7am or 2pm
Regular overtime available
Up-to-date, well-equipped workshop
Long-term opportunity with a well-established transport company

About the role
Service and maintain heavy vehicles, trucks and trailers
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing
Complete repairs to a high standard




Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Follow all workplace health and safety requirements

What we’re looking for
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic
Previous experience working on trucks and trailers
Solid mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Reliable and safety-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Welding and fabrication experience is advantageous
