Job DescriptionWork for one of Australia's leading hospital groupsAfternoon shiftsPermanent, part time 25 hours per week (5 x 5hrs)About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Food Services Assistant (FSA) to join the team on a permanent part time basis to work on the PM shift.You will be responsible for the making and preparing all short order food and drinks (including modified fluids), cleaning and dishwashing patient meal trays.
You will also be responsible for the relevant working area in accordance with the food safety plan and all production schedules and demandsPrepare short order food/beverages as requiredMonitor waste managementEnsure kitchen hygiene, Food Safety and cleanliness standards are adhered too, including thorough kitchen cleaning and sanitizingInform coordinators of required food stock levelsPrepare sandwiches & salads on weekendsClassifications for this position will range from IN13 - IN14 ($53,284- $60,189 per annum pro rata)Your ContributionFood Safety Certificate HLTFSE001Previous experience in a commercial kitchenPrevious experience in an Aged Care environment (desirable)A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtainWhat We OfferA focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programsConfidential, solutions-focused employee counsellingA healthy work/life balance encouraged.
