Our client, a leading, family-owned boutique accounting firm based in Toowoomba, is looking for a talented Bookkeeper or Graduate Accountant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic workplace with flexible work hours and on-going support.

You’ll have the option to work full time or part-time – it’s entirely up to you!

Key Responsibilities:
Processing accounts payable and receivable
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Payroll processing and STP reporting
Superannuation calculations and lodgements
BAS preparation and lodgement
Maintaining general ledgers
Data entry and journal entries
Assisting clients with software queries (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
Preparing management reports (P&L;, balance sheet, cashflow)
Liaising with the ATO on client matters

To be successful in this role, you will need:




A relevant degree qualification (or study towards)
Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in the accounting field.
Robust communication skills and a proactive approach to client engagement.
Experience in the preparation of tax returns and managing various accounting functions.
