As the Senior Project Officer, you will work closely with Professor Liza Lim AM and a network of leading artists and researchers, you will play a central role in delivering projects, events, and partnerships that engage with urgent climate and social issues.
If you enjoy building relationships, bringing complex projects to life, and working in a dynamic creative and research setting, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution while collaborating with inspiring people in Australia and internationally.Your key responsibilities will be to:coordinate a diverse portfolio of projects, helping to deliver a world-leading research program with impact across the arts, research, and broader communitylead the planning and delivery of conferences, workshops, and events across Australia and internationallyshape and maintain the program's digital presence, ensuring website content remains current, engaging,



and accessibledrive project outcomes by tracking progress, preparing reports, and identifying opportunities to improve performance and deliveryfoster productive partnerships with researchers, artists, industry collaborators, and other stakeholders to support program successmanage project budgets and financial processes, ensuring the effective use of resources and smooth program delivery.About youDemonstrated experience in project and program coordination, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a complex environmentStrong event planning and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with experience coordinating events, workshops, conferences, or related activitiesSound financial administration skills, including budget monitoring, expenditure tracking, and reportingexcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholdersStrong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confidence using a range of digital systems and platformsThe ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a high-performing teamExperience within a university, research, arts, music, or environmental context would be advantageous.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
