Supporting them to be better equipped in caring for someone with mental health issues, substance use and recovery to achieve their best outcomes, and to support those providing clinical care to develop a better understanding of recovery-oriented care and the additional benefits that peer support can provide.Provide efficient, effective, ethical and confidential person centred, nonclinical peer support within the Mackay Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Division, across both community and inpatient settings.Work under direction to facilitate the delivery of peer support for support persons of the Mental Health,
Alcohol and Other Drugs service.About The TeamStaff members of the Workforce Partnerships and Professional Development Team, work within a multi-disciplinary team framework to deliver high quality services safely and with a robust culture of continuing improvement.
Staff work collaboratively with each other and with consumers, their families/carers and external service providers.
