We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join a busy and purpose-driven organisation in Sydney's inner South on an ongoing temporary basis, working 3 days per week.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing the full finance function across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. You'll work as part of a small team, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional finance activities while supporting month-end processes and reporting.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include
End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, supplier payments and reconciliations
Accounts Receivable invoicing, debtor management and collections
Fortnightly payroll processing, employee record maintenance and payroll compliance
Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow support
General ledger reconciliations and journal entries
Assisting with BAS preparation and month-end reporting
Supporting audit, budgeting and finance projects as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated experience across AP, AR and payroll
Robust understanding of payroll legislation, STP and superannuation obligations




Experience using accounting and payroll systems
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support a small finance team
Availability to work 3 days per week on an ongoing temporary basis
