There's plenty of opportunities to broaden skill sets and advance careers, while making a positive difference in the lives of older Victorians.The RoleWe are looking for experienced Laundry Assistant for our Eaglehawk home, in California Gully, home to 67 residents.Monday to Friday 8:00am -14:30pm permanent positionDemonstrate knowledge and understanding of laundry equipment, washing instructions and cleaning methodsDemonstrate awareness of legislative requirements relevant to the position including Occupational Health & SafetyBe responsive to the needs of residents by tailoring services to meet individual needsEnsure efficient use of laundry materials and resourcesMaintain high standards of cleanliness and presentationAbout youTo be successful in this role you will need:Previous experience working with older people in a comparable setting (desirable)Demonstrated positive, courteous and client-focused behaviourAttention to detail and ability to work efficientlyUnderstanding of infection control and hygiene standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhy Benetas?
