Being proficient in the assembly of electronic products, our Assembly Technician's form part of a highly skilled and knowledgeable team of Technicians and Engineers that deliver Advanced Navigation's industry leading products.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESAssemble,



calibrate and test electronic and optics assembliesUse adhesives to bond and seal productsWork closely with the Engineering R&D; team to develop current assembly processes and techniquesAssist with the development and documentation of processes and proceduresAssist with management of inventory and electrical componentsPerform simple maintenance and service of electrical and optical assembly equipmentPack semi-finished goods for safe transport and process quality inspection of productsGrowing & developing with the Company as Advanced Navigation continues to evolve;QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEExperience with high value products in a precision assembly or manufacturing environment2+ years experience in electronic and electrical assemblyAbility to read and work with mechanical drawings and work instructionsSufficient visual and mechanical dexterity for inspecting, handling, cleaning and solderingGeneral computer skills - experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, processing software and general lab equipmentA focus on high quality, precision and attention to detailA willingness to learn the products in a speciality industryStrong communication skills within a multidisciplinary team environmentSelf motivation and a positive attitudeReliable and punctualStrong knowledge of WHS practicesAn electronic or optical qualification or similar
