You'll own the delivery and commissioning of all critical equipment across our mission critical projects, working alongside principal contractors, service trades, commissioning agents and our own Engineering and Design leads.This is a hands on, client side role where safety, program and quality all sit with you.

eliminating and engineering out hazards as the first measureIdentifying and managing risk to the services installation ahead of program or cost impactWorking with cost and commercial managers on commissioning strategy, contract negotiation and vendor procurement and selectionImplementing quality control, defect management and site inspections, and ensuring compliance with NEXTDC and customer commissioning acceptance processesThis chance will see you working with world leaders in our space.Requirements:5+ years in data centre or mission critical project or construction managementDegree in Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or trade qualifications in mechanical or electrical services installationProject management certification such as PRINCE2 or PMPSound knowledge of data centre design principles across power, cooling, space and IT infrastructure, plus Tier III/IV and Data Centre commissioningConfident leading multidisciplinary teams of contractors, vendors and consulting engineers, with strong communication and relationship building skillsProficient with Aconex, Procore, MS Project or P6, Bluebeam and RevitJoin an inclusive, diverse and values driven working culture supporting hybrid work practicesgifted share optionsNEXTDC daysvolunteer daysprofessional developmentholistic wellbeing and mental health programsand moreGreat opportunities to progress within our company (grow as we grow)Our mission is to continue building a diverse and inclusive workforce which represents the communities in which we operate.
