Enrolled Nurse – NDIS Complex CareLocation: Melbourne & surrounding Victorian locations, VICAbout ACCORD CAREACCORD CARE provides Supported Independent Living (SIL), in-home care, community-based disability supports, clinical nursing and allied health services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Our focus is on promoting participant dignity, independence and quality of life while ensuring high standards of clinical care and support.About the RoleWe are seeking multiple experienced and compassionate Enrolled Nurses (EN/EENs) with at least 2 years of nursing experience to join our Victorian team.
This is a high-responsibility role supporting NDIS participants with complex health, physical and high-intensity support needs.
You will work within your scope of practice and alongside Registered Nurses, Support Workers, allied health professionals, families and other stakeholders to ensure safe, consistent and high-quality care.We are looking for an ENs who are confident working in complex care environments and bring sound clinical judgement, robust communication, attention to detail and a proactive approach to participant wellbeing.What Your Shift Will InvolveAs an Enrolled Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering safe, person-centered clinical and disability support, including:Supporting participants with complex health and disability needsMonitoring participants' health,



wellbeing and clinical presentationRecognising changes in condition and escalating concerns appropriatelySupporting the implementation of individualised clinical care plansProviding medication-related support within your scope of practiceSupporting personal care, mobility and activities of daily living where requiredAssisting with complex and high-intensity support needsSupporting dysphagia and mealtime management requirements where trained and competentSupporting seizure and epilepsy management where applicableWorking alongside Support Workers to promote safe and consistent careProviding clinical guidance to support staff within your scope of practiceLiaising with the supervising RN, allied health professionals, families and other stakeholdersMaintaining accurate, timely and professional clinical documentationParticipating in clinical handovers, reviews and escalation processesPromoting participant dignity, choice, independence, safety and quality of life at all timesClinical RN OversightAt ACCORD CARE, our ENs are supported by Registered Nurse clinical leadership and structured clinical governance.You will work within established care plans, clinical procedures and escalation pathways, with access to RN guidance when managing complex participant needs.Our approach ensures that clinical concerns are identified early, appropriately escalated and managed within each team member's scope of practice.Essential RequirementsDiploma of Nursing and current registration with AHPRAMinimum 2 years' experience as an Enrolled NurseExperience working in disability, community, aged care,



hospital or another relevant healthcare environmentDemonstrated experience providing clinical and/or personal care supportStrong understanding of scope of practice and clinical escalationExcellent clinical documentation and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with RNs, Support Workers and multidisciplinary teamsCurrent NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Full Australian working rightsDesirable ExperienceExperience working within the NDIS or disability sectorExperience working in aged careExperience supporting participants with complex health needsExperience in Supported Independent Living (SIL)Experience with high-intensity support requirementsExperience with dysphagia and mealtime managementExperience with seizure and epilepsy managementExperience with complex mobility and manual handling requirementsExperience supporting participants with neurological conditionsExperience providing clinical guidance or mentoring to support staffWhat We OfferCompetitive remuneration depending on experience and applicable classification12% superannuationFive weeks annual leave for eligible rolesStructured onboarding and comprehensive trainingParticipant-specific training and competency developmentOngoing Registered Nurse clinical support and supervisionClear career progression opportunities within disability and clinical servicesStable and consistent work opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team environmentThe opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with participantsOpportunities to further develop your clinical skills within the NDIS sector
