Responsibilities
n
n
-Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with our menu and quality standards
n
-Assist with menu updates by contributing ideas for seasonal dishes and improvements
n
-Ensure consistent presentation, portioning, and taste across all meals
n
-Prepare ingredients efficiently, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
n
-Monitor cooking times and temperatures to deliver high-quality dishes every time
n
-Maintain a clean, organised,



and secure kitchen environment in line with food safety regulations
n
-Check the freshness and quality of ingredients and report any issues
n
-Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries, stock rotation, and minimising waste
n
-Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
n
-Follow directions from senior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment
n
n
Requirements
n
n
-Minimum of relevant Certificate III/IV.
n
-3 years' relevant work experience.
n
-Robust food preparation and cooking skills with a focus on consistency and following established recipes.
n
-Solid understanding of various cooking methods (e.g., grilling, sauteing, roasting) and station maintenance.
n
-Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
n
-Ability to multitask and effectively manage competing priorities.
n
n
Annual salary will be between $79, to $85, (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
n
