Job Summary
IIQAF Group is seeking a friendly, skilled, and customer-focusedBaristato join our hospitality team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, organized, and hygienic café or hospitality workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-qualitycoffee, espresso, tea, and other hot and cold beveragesaccording to established recipes and quality standards.
Operate and maintain commercialespresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipmentsafely and efficiently.
Prepare espresso-based beverages including espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte, flat white, macchiato, and other specialty coffees.
Steam and texture milk correctly to achieve the required temperature, consistency, and presentation.
Assist with food preparation, serving, clearing tables, and general café operations when required.
Support opening and closing duties, including equipment cleaning, stock replenishment, and workstation preparation.
Coordinate with kitchen staff, waiters, supervisors, and other hospitality team members to ensure smooth service.
Maintain a professional appearance,
positive attitude, and high standard of customer service at all times.
Follow company policies, café procedures, quality standards, and applicable Australian food safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
Previous experience as aBarista, Café Barista, Coffee Barista, Beverage Attendant, Café Attendant, Coffee Specialist, or Café All-Rounderis preferred.
Experience in cafés, restaurants, hotels, resorts, coffee shops, catering, or other hospitality establishments is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge ofcoffee preparation, espresso-based beverages, milk steaming, coffee equipment, and beverage service.
Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays when required.
