The Company

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a hands-on Accountant to join an industry leading business based in Croydon.

Commencing immediately, you will playing a pivotal role to deliver key operational and reporting activities, including general ledger and balance sheet governance, monthly P&L; reporting, compliance, and business partnering.

This is an in office position offered on an initial 3-month temporary contract. It has the potential to transition to permanent employment, although not guaranteed. The successful applicant will need to be available to commence at short notice.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
General Ledger and Balance Sheet Governance
Preparing and processing journal entries.
Balance sheet reconciliations
Inventory and Cost accounting
Maintaining Fixed Assets register
Payroll Reporting
Business Partnering and Analytics
Compliance & Control

Your Profile
Ideally CA/CPA qualified with proven expertise in month-end reporting.
You will need to be comfortable working in an autonomous role with hands-on involvement in day-to-day operational finance activities.




You will need to be able to demonstrate solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities
Previous experience with a well-known ERP system, SAP preferred
You will need to be able to commence immediately.
