About the role
Mungejup Arts and Cultural Centre is seeking a dynamic and organised Events Coordinator to join our team on a part time basis. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our vibrant calendar of programs and events. You will work closely with artists, community members, and internal staff to bring creative visions to life and ensure our centre remains a hub for culture and connection.
Key responsibilities
Plan, organise, and execute a diverse range of arts and cultural programs
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of events, from initial scheduling and logistics to on-the-day coordination
Act as a primary point of contact for artists, performers, and community partners
Collaborate on the promotion of events to ensure strong community attendance and engagement
Manage venue requirements, equipment,
and administrative tasks associated with our programming
About you
Proven experience in event coordination or a related field
Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in the arts and cultural sector
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
