Our client is a global consultancy behind some of Australia's most significant infrastructure and transport projects — a genuinely exciting business to join if you want your payroll expertise to matter to a company shaping the built setting at scale. They're now looking for an experienced Payroll or Senior Payroll Officer to own end-to-end payroll and be the trusted go-to for all things pay, compliance, and reporting.

Working in a team of 3, managing end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and on-time payroll cycles (ADP experience a bonus, not essential)
n
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end management reports
n
Handle month-end and year-end reconciliations between payroll and finance systems
n
Deliver payroll tax filings, superannuation, and year-end reporting
n
Support internal and external audits, liaising with agencies and auditors as needed
n
Mentor and support junior payroll staff, promoting best practice
n
Keep the business ahead of payroll legislation changes and communicate updates to stakeholders
n
Get involved in process improvement and general finance admin as needed
n
