SMAART Recruitment has partnered with one of Sydney's fastest-growing roofing companies, seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead field operations across its tile and metal divisions.
n
This is a senior, completely off-the-tools position suited to an experienced roofing supervisor, foreman or business owner ready to take ownership of crews, subcontractors, quality and job delivery.
n
What you'll be doing:
n
n
Overseeing daily field operations across multiple crews and subcontractors
n
Leading the metal roofing team and supporting crew allocation
n
Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to company standards
n
Conducting site inspections and identifying defects before handover
n
Managing rectification work, callbacks and complex roofing issues
n
Holding teams accountable for quality, productivity and performance
n
Mentoring employees and improving operational processes
n
n
What we're looking for:
n
n




Extensive tile or metal roofing experience
n
Experience supervising crews, subcontractors or roofing projects
n
Strong knowledge of roofing defects, installation standards and leak diagnosis
n
Confident leadership and communication skills
n
An organised, proactive and solutions-focused approach
n
Commercial roofing or ServiceM8 experience would be advantageous
n
