Job Description
Mercor is seeking a Biology PhD Coding Expert for a remote 6-week contract.
The role focuses on creating research problems from papers and datasets, writing prompts, and calibrating tasks against frontier models.
You will use Python or R for scientific computing and work with GitHub and Docker to ensure quality checks.
Ideal candidates hold a PhD in biology or related field with deep knowledge in ecology, biochemistry, or genetics, and can collaborate asynchronously to meet deadlines.
