Troocoo Healthcare is currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses – Grade 5 for an exciting rural and regional Queensland contract opportunity within the Intensive Care Unit in Mackay.

The Opportunity

Position: Registered Nurse – Grade 5
n
Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
n
Location: Mackay
n
Contract: 14/09/2026 – 01/11/2026
n
Hours: Maximum 80 hours per fortnight
n
Roster: Rotating 8 and 12-hour shifts
n
Rate: $***** – $***** per hour base
n
Roster: As per service requirements
n
n
Essential Requirements
n
n
Minimum 3 years' ICU experience
n
Current ALS certificate
n
Current BLS certificate
n
Manual and patient handling competency
n
Infection control and hand hygiene knowledge
n




Medication management experience
n
Ability to meet Queensland Health mandatory training requirements
n
n
Desirable Experience
n
n
ieMR
n
MetaVision
n
Previous experience within Australian hospitals
n
Previous Queensland Health and/or Mackay HHS experience
n
n
Successful candidates must also be willing to complete any required Queensland Health induction, ieMR training, online training and other mandatory education.
