Our client is growing its
Data & AI team
and looking for a permanent Delivery Manager to lead both the delivery of key Data & AI initiatives and a team of 6 direct reports.
This is a
hands-on l
eadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, building high-performing teams and bringing structure and clarity to complex technology delivery.
About the role
You'll sit at the centre of Data & AI delivery, partnering with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science and business stakeholders to take initiatives from discovery through to production.
A key part of the role is people leadership.
You'll directly manage a team of 6, providing coaching, feedback and career development while creating a supportive, accountable and high-performing team environment.
What you'll do
Lead, coach and develop a team of
6 direct reports
Support performance, career development and capability uplift across the team
Build a strong team culture with clear expectations and accountability




Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple Data & AI initiatives
Manage priorities, dependencies, risks and issues across technical and business teams
Own delivery planning, reporting and senior stakeholder communication
Manage team capacity and resourcing across competing priorities
Embed effective governance and continuously improve delivery practices
Support release planning and ensure initiatives are ready for
production
What we're looking for
Strong people management experience, ideally leading technical or data teams
Proven experience coaching, mentoring and developing individuals
Strong technology delivery or project management experience
Exposure to Data, Analytics or AI initiatives
Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities
Robust stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to bring structure, accountability and direction to complex delivery environments
Location & working arrangement
Melbourne based, hybrid — 3 days in the office and 2 days remote per week.
