Role Overview
A Outback QLD hospital is hiring a Senior Medical Officer in General Practice for the period 01/11/2026 to 23/11/2026 (and an alternative period from 25/05/2026 to 14/12/2026).
Duties will include working in the medical practice Monday‐Friday 08:*****:00 with an hour for lunch.
Before clinic there is a morning ward round and review of overnight presentations.
The clinic uses Best Practice software and has a full‐time dedicated Practice Nurse and admin officer for assistance.
Work Schedule & Pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:*****:00 (1 hour lunch).
Pay: AUD 2,600 per month (or AUD 2,****** per day as noted).
Duration: 01/11/2026 – 23/11/2026 (alternative: 25/05/2026 – 14/12/2026).
Location: Outback QLD hospital, Maranoa Region.
Qualifications & Requirements
Applicant must be registered with AHPRA and have the Right to Work in Australia.
