Registered Nurse Transition to Speciality Wilcannia
This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata'd to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the
NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

Provide protected compassionate person centred care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve quality care outcomes for patients and clients.

About Wilcannia
Wilcannia is a small,
primarily Aboriginal community in far west NSW situated on the banks of the Darling River.
Once a busy river port, the town is full of history and heritage listed buildings.
The outdoor cinema, music festivals and a bunch of local sporting opportunities including tennis, golf, lawn bowls and footy will keep you busy.
In the heart of the Aussie Outback, life in Wilcannia is quiet, clean and beautiful.
The Wilcannia Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) has a 24-hour 2 bed emergency department and 8 residential aged care beds.
Wilcannia MPS has been providing care to the local community for over 140 years.
