Our Federal Government Client is responsible for national digital health services and systems, with a focus on engagement, innovation, clinical quality, and safety.
Their focus is on putting data and technology safely to work for patients, consumers and the healthcare professionals who look after them.
The Role:
The Connection Support Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of national digital health infrastructure connections for software developers, healthcare provider organisations, and mobile application providers.
Acting as a central liaison between external stakeholders, technical partners, and internal Agency teams, the role provides expert guidance on Agency conformance requirements, technical standards, and security obligations to ensure successful onboarding and integration outcomes.
Additionally, they also contribute to the ongoing enhancement of connection services, national data hub initiatives, and continuous improvement activities through stakeholder collaboration, process redesign, and project participation.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Lead and coordinate connection and implementation activities for software developers, healthcare provider organisations, and mobile application providers integrating with national digital health infrastructure.
Provide advice and support to stakeholders on Agency conformance requirements, technical standards, security obligations,
and implementation processes.
Build and maintain effective relationships with software vendors, external technical partners, and internal Agency teams to facilitate successful connection outcomes.
Monitor, manage, and resolve implementation issues, risks, and dependencies, ensuring timely and effective delivery of connection services.
Contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of connection support services, service models, and national data hub requirements.
Support project and program initiatives through participation in working groups, business improvement activities, and cross-agency collaboration.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Proven ability to build productive relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including technical specialists, software developers, healthcare providers, and government agencies.
Demonstrated ability to interpret technical requirements, standards, and implementation processes, and provide practical solutions to support successful integration outcomes.
Experience coordinating multiple activities, managing competing priorities, and delivering outcomes within project, program, or service delivery environments.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, contribute to service design initiatives, and implement effective solutions that enhance customer and stakeholder experiences.
Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement, manage risks and issues, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate advice.
To be eligible it is essential that applicants hold
Australian Citizenship
and have the ability to obtain and maintain a
national police check
and
Baseline security clearance.
