Gaming Attendant & Relief Assistant Duty Manager
About the position
Our Bar and Gaming team plays a central role in creating the Wests experience.
We're currently seeking a full time team member to join the team at Wests New Lambton and help deliver exceptional service to our members and guests.
You'llbe part of a team that keeps our indoor and outdoor spaces, including designated smoking zones, welcoming, safe, and enjoyable – fromassistingwith service and enquiries, through to ensuring our venuesremainclean and inviting.
As well as performing the inherent responsibilities of a gaming attendant, this position will also involve acting as a relief Assistant Duty Manager when needed (Training provided).
Key responsibilities include:
Provide friendly customer service
Gaming machine service
Drink orders and delivery to machines
Reset and payout jackpot wins
Operation of Tab and Keno terminals
Cleaning of work station and equipment
Operation of tills and cash handling
Collect glasses from the floor and return to bar areas for cleaning
Assist the Duty Management team to coordinate shifts.
Provide training and mentoring to develop team members.
Promote a positive and supportive team culture.
Ensure compliance with the Registered Clubs Act, Liquor Act, ILGR Regulations and Gaming Machine Act.
This position will require availability on Friday nights and weekends, with reasonable availability Monday to Thursday.
As this position is key during peak periods for our venues, shifts are rostered from the evening through to early hours of the morning.
This position is ideal for an experienced candidate seeking a pathway into a management position within our clubs.

Certifications required: RSA, RCG & (preferably ARCG).
As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role.
