Carepro Disability Services is expanding our team in
Benalla
and is seeking fun, energetic and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide supports to
four children across separate support arrangements
.
We are looking for workers who genuinely enjoy working with children and young people and are passionate about
capacity building, independence and community participation
.
About the Role
You will provide individualised support based on each child's needs and NDIS goals.
Supports may include:
Capacity building and development of everyday life skills
Community access and participation
Engaging in fun, age-appropriate activities
Supporting independence, confidence and choice
Following individual support and behaviour support strategies
Providing safe, consistent and person-centred support
We have
morning and afternoon shifts available
and are looking for workers who can provide ongoing availability and consistency.
Essential Requirements
Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Current First Aid and CPR
NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain prior to commencing




Experience working with children and/or young people
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to follow support plans, policies and professional boundaries

We want Support Workers who are
fun, energetic, patient and engaging
.
You should enjoy getting involved in activities and helping children develop their skills rather than simply doing things for them.
A strong focus on
building capacity and independence
is key to these roles.
Experience supporting children with disability, autism, intellectual disability and/or behaviours of concern will be highly regarded.
With
four children currently requiring supports in the Benalla area
, there is opportunity for suitable workers to build consistent ongoing hours across our local team.
