This is a recent role for a team who are transitioning to NSW Health in line with SDPR go-live.
Northern Beaches Pharmacy was one of the first hospitals in Sydney to procure a ROWA for their department.
This role will support the team in implementing part packs as a new feature as they transition to SDPR.

Where you'll be working

What you'll be doing
Oversees the management and operation of pharmacy automation/ technology products including dispensing robot (ROWA) and electronic schedule 8 drug register (HS-8).
Additionally, oversees the medication process from ordering to distribution, including coordinating supply of Imprest medications, ensuring compliance with legislation and policy around handling of accountable drugs, management of medication shortages, recalls and compliance with NSW Health medication contracts.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
Current registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (or eligible for immediate registration) with no conditions or restrictions on practice.
Evidence of extensive clinical experience, inclusive of experience as a grade 2 Hospital Pharmacist.
Recent hospital experience with pharmacy automation technologies (ROWA, iPharmacy, Pyxis)
Ability to prioritise tasks within a complex and demanding environment
Effective communication skills - written and oral - for both internal and external stakeholders
