Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems and delivering exceptional customer service?
Join Aeralife and play an significant role in supporting residents, families and operational teams across our aged care communities.
Based at our Support Office in Hawthorn, you'll manage resident accounts, billing and collections while helping families navigate complex financial and aged care processes with professionalism, empathy and care.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for the efficient management of Aeralife's accounts receivable function, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections and exceptional service delivery.
You will work closely with residents, families, Services Australia, State Trustees and internal stakeholders to resolve enquiries, manage outstanding accounts and support positive financial outcomes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end accounts receivable activities, including billing, receipting, allocations and reconciliations
Administer resident fees, accommodation payments, refund requests and associated transactions
Proactively manage outstanding accounts and debt collection activities
Work directly with residents, families and representatives to resolve account enquiries and billing issues
Liaise with Services Australia,



State Trustees and other external stakeholders
Maintain accurate resident account information across finance and operational systems
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and payment queries
Support month-end reporting and reconciliation activities
Provide general administrative support to the Finance team
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements across the business

About You




We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Accounts Receivable qualified who enjoys working collaboratively, takes pride in accuracy and can confidently manage a variety of stakeholder relationships.
You will bring:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounts Receivable
Strong experience in billing, collections, account reconciliations and customer account management
Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong computer literacy
Experience working with financial and ERP systems
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
A professional, empathetic and customer-focused approach
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Highly Regarded
Experience within aged care, healthcare or community services
Knowledge of aged care accommodation payments and billing processes
Experience using AIM Billing, Epicor ERP and/or Xero
Understanding of aged care legislation and compliance requirements
