We are seeking a practical and solutions focused
Assistant Maintenance Coordinator
to support themaintenance and reliability of our marine support craft fleet.Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will play a key rolein ensuring our vessels remain safe, compliant and ready to operatethrough effective maintenance planning, fault finding, contractormanagement and technical support.
You will:
Assist in planning, coordinating and delivering planned andcorrective maintenance across the support craft fleet.
Troubleshoot vessel defects and provide technical advice tovessel crews, workshop personnel and contractors.
Coordinate maintenance activities, repairs and refits tominimise operational disruption.
Monitor and manage work orders within the CMMS, ensuringaccurate records and timely completion of maintenanceactivities.
Analyse vessel reliability trends and contribute to assetimprovement and lifecycle planning initiatives.
Technically capable, hands-on and great at solvingproblems: here's who we're looking for.
Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline such asFitter & Turner, Diesel Fitter, Marine Engineer orsimilar.
Demonstrated experience maintaining, repairing orcoordinating maintenance for marine, industrial,
heavyequipment or fleet assets.
Finely tuned fault finding, troubleshooting and practicalproblem solving skills.
Ability to prioritise competing maintenance requirementswhile maintaining safety, compliance and operationalperformance.
Experienced or ability to learn maintenance managementsystems (CMMS) and procurement processes.
Ability to communicate effectively with vessel crews,contractors and internal teams.
Experience with welding, fabrication, blasting and paintingactivities will be advantageous.
