This is a unique opportunity to join Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) as Manager, Communications & Engagement, where you will lead strategic communications and engagement initiatives that showcase the impact of health research and drive collaboration across Queensland's health, research and academic sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the development and delivery of strategic communications, marketing and engagement plans that strengthen HTQ's profile and advance organisational priorities.
Driving impactful campaigns, content and stakeholder engagement initiatives that foster collaboration across Queensland's health, research and academic sectors.
Overseeing HTQ's digital presence, including website, social media channels and communication platforms, ensuring a consistent, engaging and contemporary brand experience.
Providing expert advice and leadership on communications, media, marketing and engagement best practice, while measuring performance and demonstrating impact.
About You
Demonstrated success leading the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement initiatives that enhance organisational profile and deliver measurable outcomes.
Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders and work effectively across complex, multi-partner environments with professionalism, diplomacy and sound judgement.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling content and tailor messaging for diverse audiences and stakeholder groups.
Significant experience managing digital communication channels, including websites, social media, e-newsletters and content management platforms, while ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
Demonstrated experience delivering integrated communication, marketing and engagement campaigns, including content creation, media engagement,



events and brand management.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of extensive experience and expertise in contemporary communications and engagement practice.

Health Translation Queensland (HTQ) is a partnership organisation bringing together 13 of Queensland's world-class universities, research institutes and health services to help translate well-evidenced research into clinical practice.
At HTQ, we connect the people and ideas needed to turn research into better health service delivery.
By linking researchers with clinicians and consumers, we help tackle health service priorities and drive improvements in clinical practice.
As a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) accredited Research Translation Centre, we work to build the capability of our research translation workforce and to remove barriers to collaboration to accelerate research translation into clinical practice.
