HVAC Technicians | Preventative & Reactive Maintenance
NSW Locations: Port Macquarie | Wollongong | Central Coast | Gosford
Our client is a national facilities maintenance business with a strong commercial footprint across Australia.
As part of a planned national expansion, they're adding experienced HVAC Technicians across several NSW locations on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is a field-based role - you'll be out servicing real sites, with dedicated back-office coordination handling your schedule so you can focus on the work.
Locations & travel zones:
Port Macquarie - up to 300km radius
Wollongong - up to 200km radius
Central Coast - up to 200km radius
Gosford - up to 200km radius
The role:
You'll be carrying out breakdown response, servicing, and preventative and reactive maintenance across HVAC and refrigeration equipment at commercial sites - primarily retail and petroleum locations.
You'll work as part of a broader team with support from a dedicated service coordinator, and you'll be expected to join an after-hours on-call roster.
Day-to-day you'll be:
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
Completing scheduled preventative maintenance




Keeping accurate service records and documentation
Working to relevant codes, regulations and safety standards
Liaising with clients on-site professionally
What you'll need:
Certificate III or IV in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
Current ARCtick licence for fluorocarbon refrigerants
Valid driver's licence
Solid hands-on experience in commercial HVAC - the more background in commercial systems, the better
A methodical approach to fault-finding and strong attention to detail
A national police check and pre-employment medical will be required
