Role: Business Analyst (Superannuation / Banking) Location: Melbourne Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions Experience: 7+ Years Role Summary This role requires extensive experience in technical business analysis within Agile environments, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to ensure accurate data flows, high data quality, and compliance across complex enterprise systems.
Bring prior experience in Superannuation, Pensions, Insurance, or Investments (preferred).
Key Responsibilities: Perform technical business analysis within Agile delivery environments, bringing 8+ years of relevant experience.
Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements related to data management, data mapping, data consumption, and data lineage across multiple systems.
Define, validate, and document end-to-end data flows between source and target systems in collaboration with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Translate complex business and system requirements into clear, structured documentation suitable for both technical and business audiences.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data requirements are clearly understood, accurately captured,



and aligned with overall data platform objectives.
Support data quality, reconciliation, and validation activities to maintain data integrity across projects.
Apply strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Work closely with cross functional squads to support end-to-end project build and delivery.
Actively work with data to discover, identify, curate, and model datasets to deliver high-quality business outcomes.
Bring prior experience in Superannuation, Pensions, Insurance, or Investments (preferred).
Essential Technical Experience Proven experience working in large, complex enterprise data environments.
Strong expertise in requirements gathering, gap analysis, and business consulting.
Demonstrated experience in data mapping, data modelling, and data migration initiatives.
Strong SQL and data mining skills.
Handson experience breaking business requirements into Jira Epics and User Stories.
Valuable working knowledge of Confluence for requirements documentation and workflow definition.
Proven analytical experience working with cloud platforms and databases.
Strong facilitation and requirements management skills within Agile delivery models.
