Looking for a excellent firm, quality work and a little more flexibility?
I'm working with a well-established Melbourne law firm that is looking for a seasoned Conveyancer to join their team.
This is a role for someone who is confident managing residential conveyancing matters from start to finish , knows what needs to be done and doesn't need to be hand-held through the process.
And importantly, while this is an office-based role , you'll have the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week once you're established in the role.
THE ROLE You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of predominantly residential conveyancing matters , working closely with clients and the broader legal team to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to settlement.
Your day-to-day will include: Managing residential conveyancing files from contract through to settlement Preparing and reviewing contracts and associated documentation Preparing Section 32 statements and other conveyancing documentation Liaising with clients, agents, lenders, brokers and other stakeholders Managing settlements and coordinating with PEXA Conducting title and property searches Managing key dates, conditions and settlement requirements Preparing correspondence and keeping clients updated throughout the transaction Attending to post-settlement requirements Ensuring files are accurately maintained and progressed efficiently WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?
This is not a role for someone just starting out in conveyancing.
You'll be an experienced Conveyancer who can confidently take ownership of your files and manage your workload with minimal supervision.
You'll ideally bring:
Several years' hands-on residential conveyancing experience Strong knowledge of the Victorian conveyancing process The ability to manage matters from start to finish Excellent client communication skills Strong attention to detail and organisation Confidence dealing with agents, lenders and other external stakeholders A proactive approach and the ability to work autonomously WHY THIS ROLE?
