Aspirante is seeking an accomplished IT Stakeholder Engagement Manager/OCM to join the Department of Justice's Queensland Protection Commission ICT Program.
The Queensland Protection Commission is being established in response to In Plain Sight, the review into system responses to child sexual abuse.
It will bring together Blue Card services, disability worker screening, the Reportable Conduct Scheme and Child Safe Standards, commencing operations in February ****.
The QPC ICT Program will establish the Commission's technology capability, followed by the delivery of a centralised child safeguarding intelligence hub and a new case management system by February ****.
The opportunity This senior role will serve as the primary connection between the ICT Program, business leaders, executives and operational stakeholders.
Working closely with program leadership, you will develop and deliver stakeholder engagement strategies that create alignment between business objectives and technology delivery.
You will build trusted relationships, understand business priorities and ensure stakeholder needs are represented throughout the delivery lifecycle.
You will also facilitate executive briefings, governance forums, steering committees and workshops while proactively managing stakeholder concerns, competing priorities and potential resistance to change.
Key responsibilities Develop trusted relationships with executives, business leaders and key program stakeholders.
Act as the primary liaison between ICT delivery teams and assigned business functions.
Partner with business leaders to understand strategic priorities and operational challenges.
Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
Facilitate governance forums, steering committees, workshops and executive briefings.
Identify stakeholder impacts, concerns, resistance points and readiness requirements.
Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate critical issues to program leadership.
Build consensus where business requirements and technical constraints conflict.




Partner with change management and business teams to support implementation and adoption.
Monitor stakeholder satisfaction, engagement effectiveness and adoption outcomes.
Develop reports and recommend improvements to engagement, governance and communication practices.
About you You will bring significant experience in stakeholder engagement, business relationship management, organisational change or technology delivery within a large and complex digital transformation environment.

Experience identifying stakeholder impacts and supporting business readiness.
A sound understanding of organisational change, technology adoption and implementation.
The ability to measure stakeholder satisfaction and engagement effectiveness.
Excellent written, verbal, facilitation and influencing skills.
Experience working across multidisciplinary business and technology teams.
Experience within government or another large, highly governed reglatory organisation will be well regarded.
Change management certification such as Prosci, together with Agile or PRINCE2 qualifications understood The successful candidate will be required to complete relevant criminal history and employment suitability checks.
