Delivering both quality temporary and permanent options, we specialise in the recruitment of Engineering, Technical and Office Support talent.
We are partnered with a well-known company for the recruitment of a Senior Technical Adviser focusing on Dams Drainage.
This role is based in Bunbury, and is for an initial 6 month contract.
You'll be working 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate offered of $***** + super.
This role is due to start asap and is working with WA's best employers.
Your work will help ensure our dams and drainage assets operate safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
You will support routine maintenance reviews, assist with asset condition assessments, contribute to engineering investigations, and provide technical advice to operators and project teams.
This is a great opportunity for an engineer or experienced tradesperson with foundational experience who is ready to step into a broader, more specialised technical role.
Your Role: Provide reliability and engineering support associated with the dams and drainage asset portfolio, ensuring assets perform safely, effectively and in accordance with business requirements.
Deliver technical engineering expertise to support the assessment, maintenance and optimisation of dams and drainage assets.
Coordinate and contribute to asset condition assessments, inspections, investigations and performance reviews.
Analyse asset data and performance trends to identify risks,
opportunities for improvement and reliability initiatives.
Prepare technical reports, asset performance assessments and recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Contribute to maintenance strategy reviews, risk assessments and asset management activities to improve asset performance and reliability.
Provide technical advice and support to operational, maintenance, planning and project teams.
Support the delivery of asset-related projects through technical input, scope development, engineering review and stakeholder coordination.
Promote engineering best practice and contribute to safety, environmental and quality compliance across dams and drainage assets.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve asset management objectives.
Key skills and experience: Must have Degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
Demonstrated experience providing engineering advice and technical support within a utility business, engineering consultancy, or heavy engineering and construction environment.
Experience undertaking asset condition assessments, performance analysis and engineering investigations.
Understanding of asset reliability principles, asset management practices and infrastructure lifecycle management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical information and develop practical solutions.
Proven ability to prepare transparent, concise technical reports and communicate engineering outcomes to a range of stakeholders.
Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality engineering support and technical advice.
Current C-Class Driver's Licence.
