Clinical Nurse Educator
to join our
Mental Health In-Patient Services at Wyong Hospital

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of a skilled, confident and capable nursing workforce while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes for consumers experiencing mental health challenges.
About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the education, professional development and clinical capability of nursing staff across the Mental Health In-Patient Services.
Develop, coordinate and evaluate education and professional development programs.
Support the orientation, induction and ongoing development of nursing staff.
Provide clinical education, coaching and mentorship to nurses across a range of experience levels.
Promote contemporary, evidence-based mental health nursing practice.
Work collaboratively with clinical leaders and multidisciplinary teams to identify learning needs and strengthen clinical capability.
Support quality improvement,



clinical governance and initiatives that enhance patient safety and consumer outcomes.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages reflective practice, professional growth and excellence in nursing care.
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with relevant postgraduate clinical or education qualifications (or equivalent experience).
Extensive recent experience in a mental health clinical setting, with a strong commitment to high-quality patient care.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering education, applying adult learning principles, and supporting workforce development.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Confidence using technology to support contemporary clinical education and a commitment to CCLHD's strategic plan and annual priorities of; 'Trusted care.
