Logistics Superintendent | Kalgoorlie Residential or FIFO Perth (2/1 Roster)
Full-Time Position
DM3 Logistics is a proudly Western Australian-owned and operated fuel transport company.
Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and with continued business growth, we are seeking experienced Logistics Superintendent to join our expanding Logistics team at our facility in Kalgoorlie.
The Role:
The Logistics Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain and transport operations, drive fleet optimization and utilization, lead and mentor Logistics team to ensure cost effective and timely deliveries and maintain the demand forecast.
Ensure operations are maintained within and compliant with industry regulators standards and best practice.
This position is also required to provide operational coverage in the absence of other team members and serving as a knowledge resource for best practices in logistics coordination.
This role is critical in upholding high standards across the operations team, building resilience into scheduling and planning processes, and maintaining strong communication lines between drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the bulk fuel or logistics/transport sector
Broad operational knowledge of the WAHVA and AMMS compliance requirements
An understanding of Safety & Compliance practices and regulations within the industry, including Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
A "Safety First" approach—you know your WA Fatigue and Heavy Vehicle laws
Current (Or willing to obtain) DG licence




Current (Or willing to obtain) SLP
Demonstrated Operations management experience
Demonstrated Capability to lead, motivate and inspire operational teams
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
Solid interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a variety of people
Sound knowledge and experience with Microsoft suit of products.
What you'll be doing:
Supervise, Mentor and train logistics personnel while fostering a strong safety culture
Serve as a subject matter expert in transport allocations, compliance, and customer service
Provide leadership support and step into other Logistics roles (e.g. Allocations) during periods of leave or high demand
Oversee the Logistics and Allocations email inboxes for accurate and timely follow-up.
Proactively contribute to a supportive and solution-focused team culture
Supply chain optimisation:
Plan and manage the demand forecast
Monitor the execution of load allocations against the demand forecast
Monitor the daily dip schedules and review demand forecasts, amend as required
Maintain and monitor scheduling data systems and address inconsistencies proactively
Support fuel data entry, demurrage recording, and operational reporting as required




Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively contribute to continuous improvement discussions
Safety and compliance:
Ensure all operations are within the MRHVA and Mass standards
Ensure all RAV vehicles are operating on approved road networks
Enforce operational compliance with all company safety systems
Monitor all scheduling, ensuring driver runs are within safety and fatigue management limits
Liaise with drivers throughout their shift to ensure safe, timely, and compliant operations
Assist in developing and updating operational documentation, processes and procedures
Coordinate with customers to deliver accurate weekly schedules and respond to queries
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
